hi guys,

i've been working on some fairly large mods, and i am aware of mod
bloat due to previously imported images which are no longer in use.  i
understand that mod files are basically zip files, so i can pull
images out of a mod using command line zip commands.  this has worked
well in the past, but now i am doing a complete redo on tons of
counter images, and the old images will just sit there taking up
space.  is there any resource i could parse in a mod file which would
list all the actively used image files so that i can remove the rest
without fear of accidently removing images which are needed?

also, for large mods, and this may be a total pipe dream of course, it
would be fantastic to feed vassal a tab delimited table for the
creation of counters in the mod.  is there any feature like this?  and
sorry if i've overlooked it.
