You will need something similar to the calc prop routine (contact Brent) Then calculate using maths. I can't recall if Version 3 has access to previous location , I know it was requested. If not then you will need to store this in a global property before you move (current_location) .
It may be easier to put in a suggestion for a new feature , the code is all there in LOS it would need to run before and after movement using previous and current location to work out range i.e. distance. Tim M and I worked out some routines for a different purpose to capture previous location. I have also used calc prop in various modules including combat commander. If previous location isn't included in V3.0 , I will dig up the solutions we used. I'm trying to figure out if there is any way to calculate or find out how far a piece was moved with drag and drop? I have a key that is firing after each time the piece has moved and gives the coordinates, but I don't think that is going to help. ___________________________________________________________ Yahoo!
