Not sure if this is designed behavior or a bug, but I've been playing
around with a Multi-action button that doesn't seem to work right (or
more correctly, the way I would like it to... :-).

Short version, I have two different Map Shadings and I'd like a menu
button that activates a given shading and sets a global property (for
use by one of the pieces in the game to dynamically control radius
based on the active shading).

The Multi-action sets the global property, but doesn't affect the Map
Shading.  In fact, the Map Shading buttons remain on the toolbar
instead of being removed as the help guide states.

Not sure if it's a bug because there are other toolbar items the
Multi-action does not appear to affect, either.

Alternatively, is there a property to get/set the active state of a
map shading?
