OK...I think I've narrowed down the cause of this (at least a bit --
probably needs a little more testing).

Tim, do you have a trigger set up for when the card is discarded? I
usually set up a zone around the discard deck, and anytime a card is
placed in that zone I fire a trigger to report that it has been
discarded and do whatever else.

If I remove this, the problem goes away. I can have the 'do not stack'
trait in the prototype without issue.

So, perhaps it has something to do with having a discard deck in a zone?
Or using that zone for a trigger?

I created a small module to test this out, and the same works there as
well. As soon as I remove the trigger it discards fine.

I will email the module to you and Brent to take a look at what I'm
talking about.

Dave

Well, this is the root of my problem too I've now found. Removing the
trait
and the issue I had goes away.

This is unfortunate because while other pieces do stack on the
mapboards,
having to let the cards stack too, is bothersome as they eventually will
stack off the screen or across the board if the pile becomes to deep,
even
with a minor offset.

Would it be possible to somehow make stacking differentiate pieces as to
their type (cards/counters) so that invoking a stacking trait only
applies
to one, the other or both types as a designer selects stacking options?

(will post this in forums also)

Hey Dave,

We seem to have similar issues, however my offset (non snapping cards in
pile) is random, its not just after first card - sometimes I can discard
10
or 20 when it starts acting like that. My cards too have a Does not
Stack
trait, but I had not looked at that as a possible cause. I shall
investigate
this option further as possible problem. I may not actually require it
on
the cards. Thanks for info :-)

Tim

Heh...maybe.

Sorry can't get to forums at work (and I keep forgetting that they're
there).

I'll check it out when I get home.

Is this the bug you're experiencing?
