If it is a one off thing, just use the Word mail merge feature directly and
skip the coding completely. The word mail merge will be quite happy to read
the input data directly from your CSV file. So there is not even a need to
import it into another format. The one caveat is that the merge really
works best if the column names are defined in the first row.

As you do not say which version of word you are using, exact instruction are
a little hard to give, so in general I would suggest that you look in word
help under the index item "Mail Merge". (In word 97 merge is on the Tools
menu under Mail Merge.) Try a couple of quick simple merge documents first
to be sure you have the hang of it, it can be a pain when you are learning
to fully format your document only to find you have scrambled something and
have to start again.

The word mail merge is a powerful and easily used tool that will allow you
to personalise details, including changing the text of the letter, (Whole
paragraphs), to suit various variable values in the data. I have used it to
generate mail merges of up to 4 pages and around 3 thousand records at a
time without problems. (A huge improvement on the Word Pro merge which
appears to choke and die after a few hundred)
