Hi - I'm new to VB6. I create quite complex maps with many overlays
that are viewed in an internet browser, such as Internet Explorer. In
order to maximise the screen area, the maps are viewed in a popup
window with a status line but no tool bars. However, many people
don't like popups, or have them blocked.

My question is this: Can I use VB6 to create a stand-alone program
that would act as a browser similar to IE6, with full
html/graphics/javascript functionality, but allow me to specify which
bits of 'chrome' are showing.

Links to how to do this would be appreciated.

Tim in Ireland.
