Hi All,
I'm sure that someone can answer this question, which I feel sure I should know
the answer to!

I have a vb6 source of a dll - it's not my code but a freely available
download, to which I need to make a small change. The download comes with a
"Release" folder which contains only a single dll. My problem is that when I
build the dll after making my change I end up with 3 files - the dll, a .exp
(an exports library file), and a .lib (a C/C++ inline file).

What are these two extra file and what if anything am I supposed to do with
them if I issue the new .dll with my application?

Many thanks
Ian
