Everything I've seen in .NET still supports earlier versions of everything
including ASP.

Subject: [vbhelp] OT - Read (Sign?) VB Petition

  Hello all,

Some of you may already be aware of this, for the rest of you I'm
forwarding it on for your convenience.

Yes, it is true. MS is planning to kill off all support for Classic
VB and VBA. This is not just about VB as a language being
"supported" by Microsoft, it's also about the ability to later use
the applications you've developed over the last few years in future
version of Windows. They could realistically choose not to support
VB6 compiled applications under Longhorn. For us small businesses
and consultants, imagine fielding the tech support call and having
to tell a company that just spent $75,000 on their latest
application server that they've got to downgrade their Operating
System in order to run the application(s) you've written for them.

Classic ASP is also related to this, and will be next in line to
  fall.

  Regards,

  Shawn K. Hall

Now that this is public info, I want to pass this link to you all. I
  won't
tell you to sign it, but I will STRONGLY SUGGEST that anyone who
  works with
Office VBA should be sure to read this and do what they feel is
  right...as
the future of VB is strongly tied to the future of VBA in Office!
