Good. :) > Now, my next question is, how can I do this? Can I just > make a password protected Access DB? No, you can't just use an Access database, and not just because the security of Access is akin to gelatin handcuffs, but because Access databases do not function on read-only media. It's a major PITA. :( How much data needs to be encrypted? Does *all* the data have to be encrypted, or only parts of it? How secure do you need it to be (understand that ANYTHING can be hacked - the tradeoffs include processing time, development time and ease of use)? Regards, Shawn K.
