Hi !
There are several ways to do this.
1. Add ' Crystal report control' component to the project first.(Project..> 
components).
 Place that control in the form. in this example it is named as C1.
u should make a system DSN (ODBC Connection) by the name of "Recon"
C1.Connect = "Pwd=recon"
C1.SelectionFormula = "{CERDET.LABREFNO}='" & DtCmbLabRef & "'"
C1.Action = 1

The above example is to show the report  according to the value displayed in 
the combo box dtcmblabref.
 
2. Thje easiest way is project > Add crystal reports. then a wizard wwill 
giuide you to perform your task.
