*Position: Avaya VoIP Solutions Engineer* *Location: Charlotte, NC* *Duration: 6+ Month Contract* * * *Position Description:* The Solutions Engineer will test and certify technical solutions in the Charlotte Avaya VoIP lab environment prior to being deployed in production. Upon deployment into production, the Solution Engineer will act as an escalation point for Site Engineers troubleshooting deployment and support issues. The Solution Engineer will interact vendor and client resources in coordinating, testing the solution in question. *Daily Duties/Activities:* Test/Certify solutions as necessary and attend project meetings as required. Prepare testing/certification documentation in preparation for and completion of testing/certification. Additional duties include monitoring of Avaya firmware and Product Correction Notices (PCN) releases for applicability to the contact center solution. * Technical Requirements:* Avaya Communication Manager (up to version 5.x) on the following platforms G3csi, G3si, G3I, G3r, S8XXX Avaya Modular Messaging (up to version 3.x) Avaya Call Management System (up to version 14.x) Avaya Applications Enablement Services (up to version 4.2) utilizing CVLAN, DLG, DMCC and TSAPI protocols Avaya Best Services Routing Avaya Business Advocate Avaya Proactive Contact Familiarity with Cisco Call Manager Familiarity with Cisco Unity voice messaging Familiarity with Genesys Call Routing and/or Cisco Intelligent Call Manger Familiarity with Aspect/Davox Unison predictive dialer Familiarity with Avaya Predictive Dialing System (PDS)/Mosaix Familiarity with VRU/IVR systems Experience with the following circuits and protocols; DS0/DS1/DS3/OCx, ISDN-PRI, ISDN-BRI, Frame Relay, SIP, SONET, VoIP Multiplexing equipment Voice/Data structured cabling *Thanks & Regards,* Alex Rodriguez** Account Manager Data Group, Inc.
