*Position: ASP.Net Architect* *Location: Madison, WI* *Duration: 10 Month Contract* *Rate: $45-$47/hr (Not Negotiable)* * * *JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: * - Systems Architect performs advanced professional information systems (IS) work on large complex web-based systems under general supervision - Design, develop, and/or maintain current or new web based applications using the latest technologies available to the department including SharePoint, ASP.Net, C#.Net, XML/XSLT, MS Patterns and Practices, and Web Services - Develop and propose detailed design solutions - Define application functionality, data requirements., business rules and application flow - Perform database design, development and implementation tasks using SQL programming skills, including stored procedures, views, and user defined functions - Follow Agile Methodology prototyping solutions to define and refine business requirements - Leverage Design Patterns to support best practice software development processes - Utilize Test Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration techniques to improve software quality - leads the design and development of next generation internal business systems - Possesses experience in finance/accounting, HR, and/or Graphical Information Systems (GIS). *REQUIRED SKILLS: * - Understanding of project management methodologies and experience with 'agile' * 3+ Yrs. - Design pattern usage (MVC, front controller)Very Strong and 2+ Yrs. - Web and client-server application development experience, including requirements gathering, design, * 5+ Yrs. - Microsoft SQL Server 2000, 2003 and 2005 * 5+ Yrs. - Structured analysis and design of web and client-server applications for both transactional and batc 5+ Yrs. - AJAX Very Strong and 2+ Yrs. - ASP.NET Expert and 3+ Yrs. - C Sharp Very Strong and 5+ Yrs. - JSP (Java Server Pages) Moderately Strong and 1+ Yrs. - Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services 2+ Yrs. - Understanding of MS.Net Framework 5+ Yrs. - Visual Studio Very Strong and 5+ Yrs. - Web Services Very Strong and 3+ Yrs. - WebSphere RAD 6.0 Limited Experience and 1+ Yrs. - XML/XSL/XSLT Very Strong and 2+ Yrs. - MS SharePoint Portal Server Very Strong and 2+ Yrs. - Testing Methods/Techniques Including Creation and Execution of Unit, System and User Acceptance Plan * 3+ Yrs. - Web Project management experience designing, planning and coordinating work teams.
