Location: Laurel, MD Duration: 6 Months Bill-Rate: $40-45/Hr inc. all on C2C This is a *MySQL DBA position* - not SQL Server! There was no option in the drop down menu for title for *MySQL DBA.* *Job Requirement* The *MySQL DBA* will be responsible for the administration of MySQL v5.1 enterprise databases in InnoDB/myISAM mode running on RHES v5.x in production/QA/dev environments. Administration will include installation, configuration, monitoring, optimization, tuning, troubleshooting, backup, recovery and upgrades. The *MySQL DBA* will also be responsible for designing, implementing and supporting a formal High Availability (HA) and Redundant solution, preferably based on clustering or replication. Furthermore, the *MySQL DBA* will be responsible for implementing a formal backup and recovery solution with documentation.
