Need: Embedded Engineer
Location: Quakertown PA
Rate is 40/hr{MAX}
Duration: 3months.
Academic Degree(s) required:
4 Year Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering (Computer Science okay
with practical embedded software development experience)
Experience Required:
* Minimum 5 years of applicable experience in Embedded Systems Product
design
* Working knowledge of C
* Familiarity with 8-bit processor architectures
* Familiarity with hardware design concepts, ability to troubleshoot
mixed hardware/software issues
* Freescale 9S08 Processor familiarity a plus
* Familiarity with Communication Protocols
Principal Accountabilities:
* Design/architect software - responsible to help design robust code,
reused across multiple platforms for new features in a cross-functional
development team environment
* Bug hunt and fix - responsible to report and fix bugs identified
within the software
* Test - responsible for completing bench testing of developed
software
* Document - responsible for documenting changes made to software
