The contractor must have at least a bachelor’s degree in a field of study related to computing, mathematics, or business and at least six years of experience with the PeopleSoft Enterprise Financials suite of applications and the PeopleTools suite of tools. The contractor must have proven experience and expertise with the following: • Upgrading from FMS 8.8 to FMS 9.0 • FMS 9.0 modules: Commitment Control, General Ledger, Purchasing, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Billing. • PeopleTools 8.49 suite of tools including but not limited to PeopleCode, Application Engine, Integration Broker, XML Publisher, SQR, Data Mover, and Query, Crystal reports, and nVision reports. • Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) Work Tasks Client seeks consulting assistance for the application software aspect of the upgrade from FMS version 8.8 to version 9.0. The consulting engagement will have several phases: • Application Software Review • Recommendations • Implementation Assistance Application Software Review • Review with the Client team of the new version 9.0 features and functionality within Client’s delivered and custom Financial suite of modules for best practices or known successful implementations for the version 9.0 software; • High-level review with the Client team of the system interfaces currently in place; • High-level review with the Client team of the system customizations currently in place. In the Recommendations phase, the contractor will prepare a written summary for Client that documents review findings, recommendations, and perceived outcomes. • The document will address the following: o Validation of the current setup; o Identify necessary changes for optimum performance/issue resolution; o Identify opportunities for improvement including areas where Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) can be helpful. • The contractor will present this document to the Client team.
