But during the migration weekends the candidates will be asked to work 12 hour days from Friday through Sunday. * *Job Description: • Install, Configure and Administrate **JBoss, Tomcat, Apache HTTP Server**, ServiceMix **ESB**, Fuse ESB, Axis, and MS IIS** • Ability to work closely with network engineers, database administrators, security admins/analysts, LDAP administrators, Unix/Intel admins, M/F teams, storage teams, monitoring teams, etc. to design, implement and support the infrastructure required for robust, high performance web sites for a major client • Review various system logs (web server, application server, etc.) on multiple platforms (Linux and Windows) to determine root cause of problems and performance issues • Understand the functionality and operation of web servers and application servers • Understand, recommend and implement best practices for web and application server environments • Provide operational administration and support of over 500 servers consisting of primarily Linux and Windows.
