*Position: Project Manager* *Location: AUSTIN, Texas* *Duration: 5+ Months* Worker will perform advanced project management work. Develop and maintain program schedules; maintain an integrated master schedule; provide a scheduling interface with various project managers; and serve as a scheduling resource in all project, customer and management meetings. Worker must display skill in the use of all elements of Microsoft Project (version 2003 or later), including resource management, tracking progress against a baseline, and performance measurement. In particular, candidates should have the ability to successfully perform the following: A. Explain and present the critical path in a project schedule, and demonstrate the effects of date constraints and deadlines on the critical path B. *Create and customize Gantt charts and network diagrams; schedules that have logical problems, and know the most common scheduling errors that are likely to be encountered in schedules created by others * C. Level resources manually and automatically D. Save and maintain a baseline in an environment of changing project scope, and derive standard performance metrics that compare baseline data with the current plan E. Track progress using the "% complete" and the "physical % complete. methods F. Derive and present earned value performance indicators from schedules, including cost variance, schedule variance, and cost and schedule performance indexes G. Export data and images from Project into MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Visio. H.
