*ERP COE Services Transport Lead – Any functional consultant with Transport

*Duration: 6months+ *
*Location: Milwaukee, WI*
*The COE Services team functions as the process*, *planning and tools group
for the ERP Center of Excellence*. Responsibilities include *SAP transport
management, SAP system maintenance* outage planning and coordination, tool
administration and *support, process creation, updates, guidance and
training, demand planning and others.*
*The Transport Lead will work fulltime on our* *Global Manufacturing
Execution (GME) project*, performing the following high-level tasks:
- This person organizes and coordinates all aspects of moving
objects (*transports,
java imports, etc*.) for the *GME cutovers* to QA (3 times), to the
simulation environment (once or twice) and through the production support
landscape.
- This person also manages the movement of any dual maintenance objects
for production support.
- Environments that may require “transport coordination” include:
- *SAP ECC*
- *SAP BW*
- *SAP BPC*
- *SAP BOXI*
- *SAP SCM/APO*
- *SAP PI*
- *SAP Portal*
- *SAP MII*
- *SAP ME*
- *SAP Console*
- *IBM Content Manager/Common Store*
· Understand and follow change management processes both for
production support and project development
· Work directly with sustain and project development leads on all
aspects of transport management for GME
· Communicate with various stakeholder groups including the ERP COE,
GIS, Business and Leadership
