Thanks… * * *Direct Client:* *Job Title: Sr. Business Analyst/Quality Analyst* Location: *Chattanooga**, TN* Duration: 5+months *The Business Systems Analyst will work closely with stakeholders* (i.e. business unit personnel, business experts, other technical staff, vendors, and contractors) to understand and document project and corporate business and system requirements. You will be responsible for proactively conducting interviews with all stakeholders to elicit detailed functional and system requirements, and managing the requirements throughout the course of the project. *You will be responsible for modeling, managing, and communicating requirements* throughout the life of the project. This position is also responsible for ensuring unique business needs are properly translated into the solution and communicated across corporate areas. *Job Duties & Responsibilities * • Extract requirements through: interviews with stakeholders, document analysis, requirements workshops, requirements surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, business analysis, task analysis, and workflow analysis. • Create functional and system requirement specifications using tools such as use cases, activity diagrams, and other industry standard tools. • *Model, manage, and communicate requirements throughout the system development or project life cycle.* • Conduct an effective requirements review with stakeholders to ensure completeness and quality of the requirements package. • Facilitate meetings with management personal and other staff to ensure that the meeting goals are met, regardless of whether they are gathering requirements, or setting expectation. • Coordinate test case development, in support of functional requirements, with the Quality Assurance team. • Validate that the business requirements are being met throughout the lifecycle to ensure that they are delivered correctly or exceptions documented. • Assist in identifying business problems and recommending viable solutions for vendor and in house development. • Communicate and interview to elicit accurate business requirements. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts. • Participate on projects and apply project management methodology throughout the project life cycle. • Lead and/or participate on project team(s), ensuring the project meets all goals and objectives. • Communicate progress, exceptions, and results to the customer, project participants, and appropriate leadership. *Job Qualifications Education * • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Technology, Business, Education or equivalent work experience required Experience • *Minimum 5 years experience in Software Quality Assurance (SQA)* • 5+ years experience with all aspects of the *System Development Life Cycle.* • 5+ years experience with *testing concepts and techniques, i.e. Quality Center. * • 5+ years knowledge and understanding of *Business and Process Analysis best practices.* *• 2 + years experience in health insurance industry. * • 2 + years experience performing project management functions. • 2 + years experience in requirement gathering techniques and tools (i.e. USE cases, UML, etc). *• 2 + years experience with QuickTest Pro or other testing software tool. * • Experience working in an iterative development environment such as Agile/XP • Experience working in and for an organization building enterprise software development applications for delivery to external clients • Experience implementing processes and procedures *using IT industry standards (i.e., ITIL, COBIT, IEEE, etc…) Skills/Certifications * • Strong attention to detail • Must be able to interact, facilitate and establish strong working relationships with internal customers, external partners, and strategic vendors *• Industry certified (e.g. Certified Business Analyst Professional).
