Position : SQL DBA Location : Dallas, Texas Duration : 6-12 month contract Must have the following: * Physical database tables and design, works with system administrator and uses data dictionary software packages to ensure data integrity and security, recovers corrupted data and eliminates data redundancy. * Uses tuning tools to improve database performance. * Works with the application development teams, focusing on the back-end portion of data storage considerations and performance considerations for application systems being developed. Required Skills: * Microsoft SQL server administration * SQL developer experience. * SQL programming, writing stored procs, data modeling knowledge, writing SSIS, * Expert level knowledge in SQL programming. * Proven problem solving and debugging skills. * Fine tune existing Stored Procs and SQls. * Be able to maintain versions and syncup different Database environments. * Effective written and verbal communication skills as well as analytical ability.
