Please share resumes to *[email protected] <[email protected]>* *Need only Green Cards and Citizens….* *QA White Box testers with C# / WPF experience* *Palo Alto, CA 94301* *6+ months contract* *C# / WPF White Box QA tester Job details:* We are looking for testers with Coded UI or CUIT experience that can write the code framework and that have *developed automated testing for WPF applications*. · Looking for a candidate with *WPF* and Developer experience but this person would be actually performing White Box QA testing. · This person should have experience in C/C++, C#, *WPF*, JavaScript and HTML5. · Should be able to work with the developers to debug existing code and possible make the change to it. · Should be able to communicate effectively and in the future, this role might turn into a QA lead position. * Responsibilities * · Do everything possible to delight our customers · Work hand in hand with the engineering architects and developers to design, develop White box and unit test frameworks for Engineering · Work with cross functional teams as needed to deliver a high quality solution · Utilizing Testing Methodologies analyze testing requirements as the basis for developing testing scenarios for a test level to be executed on a project. · Create White Box API tests to exercise Client Applications and Services · Write and execute Automated and Manual test cases and test suites · Integrate White Box API tests with an Automated Test Framework · Write Test Plans, file defects and regress functionality · Design testing scenarios and test cases that will demonstrate conformance to all functional and non-functional requirements, relative to the test level, as defined in business or technical specifications. · Executes tasks related to the production of the Test Plan, test cases, test scripts, and test data. · Responsible to promote the Build as needed on behalf of the Scrum team so that the System QA team can exercise System level test cases · Embrace the agile development model adopted by the group *Education and Experience * · Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent · C/C++, C#, JavaScript and HTML5 · Minimum 4 years on client application, performance instrumentation, test automation · Comfortable working in an Agile team setting * Knowledge and Skills * · Working knowledge of nUnit · Test management tool experience Quality Center, ALM, JIRA etc. · Work experience on desktop and notebook QA testing preferred. · Strong debug and trouble shooting skills · Basic idea about client technologies is desired · Work Experience with following OS: Win7, Win8 and popular PC applications · Fast learner and flexible, be able to adapt to new areas and technologies with less monitoring · Must have very good verbal and written communication skills; will interact daily with Developers and System QA · Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and accept general direction *Not required but considered as a plus: * · Knowledge of Agile approaches such as XP · Experience with Agile techniques such as ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Pairing -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "VB.NET 2003 Group" group.
