*Position: * *iOS Developer * *Location : **Minneapolis, MN * *Duration: 12+ Months * *Interview Mode: Phone / Skype (F2F if Locals )* *Job Description* · Our growing, Minneapolis based, client is looking to add an *iOS Developer* to their growing team. · This developer will be responsible for the development and maintenance of applications aimed at a range of *iOS devices* including *mobile phones and tablet computers*. Your primary focus will be development of iOS applications to support both internal and external customers. · You will be responsible for owning each application from requirements gathering, design, development, testing, launch and post go-live support. *Job Responsibilities* · Design and build new native mobile applications for the iOS platform · Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications · Collaborate with business and IT teams to define, design, develop and launch new features · Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs · Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization · Support the business with other ad hoc development needs *Job Requirement* · 5+ years of experience in application development with 2+ years of experience in *iOS mobile application development.* · Experience with *iOS frameworks* such as Core Data, Core Animation, etc. · Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning · Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services · Strong understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines · Knowledge of low-level C-based libraries is preferred · Experience using tools such as *Xamarin *to write native iOS, Android or Windows apps with native user interfaces and share code across multiple platforms. · 3+ years of experience with *C#* and *Visual Studio* highly preferred · Familiarity with *cloud message APIs* and push notifications · Knack for benchmarking and optimization · Resourceful and willing to learn new technology · Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Math or Physics or a technical field (such as CIS or IT) from a four-year college or university.
