*Job Description*

•                        Provide primary database administration support
for a variety of Oracle and SQL Server database systems.

•                        Develop, customize, and implement databases and
related products.

•                        Work individually or within a team on database
consulting projects to meet specific customer requirements.

•                        May include support, maintenance, and
administration. Handle installations, upgrades, backups, and configuration.

•                        Confer with appropriate managers regarding
problems with and capabilities of database systems.


*Job Responsibilities*

•                        Daily database monitoring for errors & events for
Multiple Clients

•                        Routine maintenance and monitoring of ERP systems

•                        Issue fixes and problem resolution for production
and development databases

•                        Off  hours patching and maintenance tasks

•                        Logging and executing on support requests with
database vendors

•                        Performing database copies, clones and replication

•                        Performing tests and routine validation of backup
and recovery scenarios

•                        Documenting issue resolution & providing status
reports to key team members

•                        Incident response for production systems,
including 24x7 on call rotation

•                        Frequent phone and email communication with
customers and internal resources

•                        Business Development:  Assist the Practice
Manager to develop proposals, RFPs, and statements of work.

•                        Collaborate with sales to up-sell   consulting
services within existing engagements.  Assist Practice Manager in
estimating projects to ensure profitable delivery.

•                        Project Relationship Building:  Build rapport with
client project team, client employees and Jibe consultants.

•                        Project Support: Support project team for
successful delivery of the client’s business requirements through all
phases   of the implementation. Participate in   weekly project status
meetings for assigned team and issues meetings.

•                        Marketing Awareness and Client Relationships:
Maintain effective relationships with multiple clients.  Assist in
maintaining a professional market  image for Jibe.

•                        Leadership:  Encourage teamwork and positive
working relationships within the project team for all consultants, client
members and throughout Jibe.



*Job Requirement*

•                        Knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite
administration is strongly preferred with a strong emphasis on 11i & R12
patching, maintenance and management best practices.

•                        Experience with Application Server environments.

•                        Familiarity with industry standard database
monitoring tools.

•                        MCP or other Microsoft certification is a plus.

•                        Oracle  OCA or OCP certification is a plus.

•                        Strong familiarity with help desk processes and
help desk ticketing systems.

•                        Ability to performance tune the database and
applications.

•                        Strong familiarity with Unix command structure.

•                        Self-disciplined   with a strong initiative

•                        Ability to provide team leadership.

•                        Strong organizational, problem-solving, and
analytical skills.

•                        Proven ability to handle and prioritize multiple
projects and meet deadlines.

•                        Strong technical aptitude and strong desire to
grow those skills.

•                        Demonstrated, excellent verbal and written
communications skills. The ability to communicate to all audience levels
from field consultants to client project team members.

•                        Ability to work both collaboratively and
independently to efficiently complete project deliverables.

•                        Commitment to excellence and high standards.
