Candidate should be building the next chapter which means helping us scale to meet the needs of our rapidly growing customer base. *What you ll be doing* - Apply and enhance methodologies and evangelize effective testing standards - Optimize test cycle efficiency & add test automation into the continuous delivery pipeline - Hands-on test planning, test development, testing and defect submission - Develop test scripts to automate the E2E workflows in an agile SDLC environment - Identify E2E scenarios that exercise operational and business work flows - Work with Product Management teams, development, and business owners to develop and execute, acceptance and E2E test plans - Generate professional test results, metrics and status reports (can be automated!) - Analyze test results to ensure that the product functions per requirements - Setup, configure, and maintain software test labs and test environments - Contribute to our Test Plans with the inclusion of the System Test areas such as Stress, Reliability, Recovery, Configuration, and Performance testing - Work closely with rest of the QE team and provide technical guidance to peer QE members as needed. - Run manual tests for scenarios that cannot be automated - Define and lead high-profile initiatives to improve product quality, deployment scalability and customer experience before, during and after change. - Ensure on-time and effective deliveary of high-quality, enterprise SaaS releases. - Play a leading role in managing release readiness and success criteria based on business requirements. - Capture and analyze quality metrics for release readiness - Implement best practices consistent with an agile development methodology. *Who you are* - Masters or Bachelors in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or equivalent (or 5+ years of experience in software development) - At least 4-5 years of programming experience in *Java or C++ with good understanding of data structures, algorithms, Object Oriented fundamentals.* - *Experience with one or more database technologies (Postgres, MySQL) is must to have* - At least 4-5 years of test/automation (client and/or server) experience (including hands on coding and design). - At least 2 years of experience working with Linux based systems - Fluent with at least one scripting language such as *TCL, Ruby, Perl, Python is a plus* - Previous web experience is a plus; should be willing and able to pick up web programming - Knowledge of revision control software (e. g. *Git, SVN, Perforce, etc.) and development lifecycle.* - Ability to rapidly shift context between project oriented work and work supporting other teams - Open to have a flexible schedule, on occasion, to provide support for production releases - Attention to detail, particular when it comes to troubleshooting and analytics - Excellent communication and collaboration skills, both written and verbal. Ability to drive a meeting *What youve done* - Experience with *UI Automation frameworks like Selenium.* - L4+ networking programming with *Asynchronous I/O and TCP/HTTP/SSL protocols (good to have)* - Working knowledge of SaaS technology and SSO solutions. - Understanding of *ciphers, cryptography and security testing.* - Strong experience with *Testing tools like TestRail and Jira* - Understanding of build systems, source code control systems, defect tracking systems and the interactions between them - Proficiency in software development lifecycle. - Exposure to mobile operating systems specially *iOS, Android and Windows* - Experience setting and managing CI environment (e. g.
