Hope your are doing well… One of our reputed client is looking for *Business Systems Analyst at San Jose CA , Portland, OR. *If you have consultants ,Kindly share resumes with contact info ASAP… *Business Systems Analyst * *San Jose CA , Portland, OR* *8+ Months * *taxonomist, metadata* *Primary Job Responsibilities* EBay is searching for a bright, adaptable, and passionate taxonomist to join its backend metadata classification team to support a global initiative aimed at identifying eBay’s global listing inventory. The Classification specialist is in charge of running different types of research initiatives and projects centred around defining metadata that described items on our US platform listing flows. Work in a global group focused on standardizing the language of eBay’s multilingual metadata backend for key descriptors. The Classification specialist will receive, prioritise and implement change requests to the classification structure. Work with local business units to communicate changes and mitigate change management risk. The role will involve elements of the following tasks: • Research specific categories/products to identify standard and non-standard way of defining products. • Liaising with global counterparts to collaborate on designs. • Defining and documenting standards and alignment across metadata of descriptor aspects globally. • Working with global counterparts to co-ordinate the implementation of designs and definitions. • Create and execute query searches on ebay inventory data via direct database searches and via UI search tools. • Working with Classification Managers to maintain the category change roadmap. • Understand selling flows and how data collected there translates to frontend user experiences. • Identify, develop and implement routines for ongoing data quality assurance. • Localising metadata for the US and other English language markets. *Job Requirements* • Minimum: Bachelor’s degree from a top tier University or equivalent experience. Open to all degree backgrounds, but strong numeracy skills necessary. • 2-3 years’ business experience preferred – willing to consider graduates. • Multilingual a big plus, especially Spanish, Italian, French, German, Dutch, Polish and Flemish, with bonus points for fluency. • Experience with SQL or query based search a must. Must be able to write SQL (My-SQL or PL-SQL) queries. • Analytical, organised and highly detail oriented. • Display efficient, data-based decision making. • Proficiency in MS Office suite (specifically Excel). • Knowledge of cloud based work services such as G Suite and Office 365. • Familiarity with eBay site and business. • Strong customer focus. • Ability to localise into US English. *• Ability to localise into US English.* Can you describe the team culture in your department?
