Position: Sr Program Manager
Location: Des Moines, IA

*Job description:*
Responsible for the delivery of projects and products, particularly using
Agile methods. They need to work closely with the Product Manager and the
rest of the team to define the vision, keep everyone on the right track and
ensure common priorities feeding this into the prioritization of work
ensuring that all products are built to an appropriate level of quality for
the stage (alpha/beta/production).

On a day-to-day basis, a Portfolio Manager might lead collaborative and
planning processes, prioritizing the work that needs to be done against the
capacity and capability of the team.
This might include facilitating daily stand-ups and other sprint
ceremonies, and coaching teams on Agile tools and techniques.

   all project-level activities worldwide and across all delivery
   organizations to manage day-to-day tactical activities.
   - Advising & motivating project team towards the program/project
   deliverables and contributing towards people career planning and
   development.
   - Ensuring capacity/people planning for new potential project
   opportunities, retention planning (primarily offshore) and providing
   constructive feedback.
   - Maintaining key communication and ongoing dialogue with key
   stakeholders.
   - Identifying all risks & dependencies in the project, allocating it to
   individuals, planning response and escalating at the right time (Risk
   Management).
   - Implementing learning and best practices across the projects in the
   account and common processes.
   - Preparing or reviewing estimates, proposals and statements of work on
   a need basis; assisting development and refinement of Training Programmes &
   Curriculum.
   - Assuring offshore team members to maintain required skills and
   competencies.
   - Reviewing, verifying and providing management analysis of status
   reports, resource trackers or people reports, and finance reports.
   Management oversight of projects/location with emphasis on fostering
   effective communication, adherence to quality processes, escalation and
   issue resolution.
   - Ensuring projects adhere to organizational processes and procedures;
   managing key SLA metrics & monitoring the overall performance.
   - Participating and providing thought leadership in governance/steering
   committee meetings.
