*Immediate Need!* *Let me know if you have any candidate available for the below job position we have, Thanks!* *Please send resumes to moh...@datagrp.com <moh...@datagrp.com>; Direct: 201 308 –8704* *SQL Server Engineers Columbus, OH Contract* *Rate: $45/hr on C2C* *Implement partner: Cognizant* *Roles & Responsible* *Responsibilities* · Complete platform upgrades, motions, quarterly patching performance monitoring · Responsible for providing day-to-day activities, including, but not limited to, backup restore, performance tuning security management capacity planning, standards development and enforcement · Responsible for investigating potential problems and issues raised by app team customers · Monitor database events and proactively optimize system performance · Work with the team to automate reactive procedures where possible, and to promote rapid response to known issues · Think and act out of the box indentifying opportunities in teams daily work along with executing and completing tasks that are highly visible · Adopt and embrace automation practices across the various technical platforms and domains · Participate in an On Call support rotation *Qualifications:* · 8-10 years' experience in database administration discipline · In depth experience with MS SQL patching/migration related efforts · In depth experience with MS SQL Server 2008 R2, 2012, 2014 and 2016 · Advanced skills in Always On SQL Server technology · Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline · Advanced skills in T-SQL and PowerShell scripting experience · Advanced Windows Operating System Knowledge · Advanced SQL skills including use and optimize techniques · High level knowledge of key business drivers measures, processes and challenges · Ability to think more broadly about data management and information architectural concepts and principles · Strong collaboration skills and ability to promote ideas and advocate for change · Good overall exposure to various technology stocks like Storage Network OS and databases · Past experience working as a programmer/coder is highly beneficial · Advanced use of DBA tools to troubleshoot database performance problems · Exposure to Qualys and Kena or different vulnerablity scanning/management looks beneficial *Nice to have* · Familiarity with and capable of enforcing technology management practices such as CVCD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "VB.NET 2003 Group" group.
