*Position: Core Java Web Services EngineerLocation: Phoenix, AZDuration: Long TermJob Description:* - Have the ability to work in a fast paced environment driving innovation through rapid prototyping - Be part of a team of developers guiding on engineering best practices - Work closely with business clients and UI designers to analyze requirements and code applications • Customize and integrate commercial software packages for both internal employees as well as external members on multiple platforms - Maintain code integrity and quality - Perform defect correction (analysis, design, code) on less complex issues and/or codes applications of medium complexity - Install, customize and integrate commercial software packages. - Work with experienced team members to conduct root cause analysis of issues - Review new and existing code and/or perform unit testing - Create system documentation/play books and attends requirements, design and code reviews. Understand and assists in gathering and analyzing customer requirements and may respond to outages following the appropriate processes *Required Skills:* - At least 5 years of experience with J2EE Technologies. All development will be for or have touch points with the Genesys Voice Platform. - Experience with Web Services: WSDL, XML, RESTful - Experience with Java technologies including Spring MVC and Spring WebFlow - Familiarity with Java IDEs such as Eclipse or Spring STS.
