*Position: Database Architect with AWS MigrationLocation: Newark,
NJDuration: Long TermJob Description:*

   - 4+ years of AWS Migration experience for Oracle and/ OR SQL Server.
   - 10+ years hands on DBA experience with Oracle and SQL on-premises and
   on Cloud.
   - 2+ years analysis and assessment experience moving to cloud.
   - 4+ years of hands on experience using any migration tools in the past
   (DMS, SMS, Cloud Endure, etc.). and a thorough understanding of AWS Core
   services (EC2, RDS, VPC, Security Groups, NACLs, etc.)
   - 4+ years of consulting experience: Ability to articulate migration
   recommendations and strategy to stakeholders who are Director level and
   above.
   - Expertise in evaluating on-premise Db to EC2 or RDS. Ability in
   providing a proven strategy to cloud to scale either for lift and shift or
   replatform.
   - Thorough understanding on licensing requirement on premises and on
   cloud.
   - Expertise in troubleshooting application and databases.
   - Knowledge of different application architectures.
   - Aws cloud certified, Oracle Certified, SQL certified.
   - Familiarity with industry standard backup, Recovery and security tools.
   - Strong Analytical skills.
   - Experience in assessment tools like RISC Networks is a big plus.
   - Bachelor’s degree
   - Willing to relocate
   - 20% travel required.
   - Strong verbal and written communication skills.
   - Self-motivated.
