Hi, Attached is a patch that fixes the texture issues with non-ARGB windows (when running Compiz on the guest), that happen due to all texture images being unconditionally specified with the GL_RGBA internal format in guest additions. The issue can be seen during fade animations or when you reduce the opacity of a non-ARGB window ( e.g: http://imagebin.ca/view/6Bujs1.html ). The same bug also causes screenshots taken with the Compiz screenshot plugin to come out partially transparent.
