Hmmm... it sounded a bit like the race we fixed a while ago. I thought it was later, but when I looked it up I saw that fix went into 3.2.2 already. So that can't be it.

No idea right now, haven't ever seen such crashes. Being a crash on freeing memory it could be more or less any kind of heap corruption.

    which vbox version? 3.2.6 or a reasonably recent svn revision?
