I already replied to your question in one of my previous emails. yes, I tried, and just did it once more time, _alloca() does not change the link error
_alloca is compiled to __alloca_probe_16() on my side, but yours must be compiled to __alloca_probe(). If I manually change __alloca_probe_16 to __alloca_probe in RuntimeR0Drv.lib, then linker works. Can you post the command that compiles stringalloc.cpp?
