Interesting. I have never seen a Beta-Build associated with SVN before that I remember. All kinds of warnings and what-not, but the issue I reported seems to have been taken care of.

Hi Perry,

yes, that's another tiny bug which was also fixed in SVN. Just
re-define VBOX_VERSION_STRING := $(VBOX_VERSION_STRING_RAW) in
your LocalConfig.kmk or update SVN again (r37726).

Kind regards,

Frank

Good day Frank,

/usr/bin/genisoimage: Volume ID string too long
kmk: ***
[/trunk/out/linux.amd64/release/bin/additions/VBoxGuestAdditions.iso]
Error 255
kmk: *** Waiting for unfinished jobs....
kmk: *** Exiting with status 2

This didn't happen in r37721.  I added VBOX_WITH_ADDITIONS :=  to
LocalConfig.kmk but that didn't work.
Created a kmk: *** No rule to make target
`/trunk/out/linux.amd64/release/bin/additions/VBoxGuestAdditions.iso
while packing.

I have to wonder Alexey, how you can tell it is the same? I looked at
the beta and I can't tell. Please enlighten me.
Or better yet why not try to compile to the latest from SVN and see if
it works for you. Remember 32 bit guests and no VT-x. Really makes a
big difference.

Anyway I have re-compiled r37715 again and it does not work. (yes the
out folder gets deleted every time I run my build script)
thanks for the information! Please retry with r37723. Unfortunately this
fix didn't make it into 4.1 Beta 1 anymore, but 4.1 Beta 2 will have it
of course.

Kind regards,

Frank
