Seems revision 39412 brought in the use of a API function that is only available to Vista or newer hosts, and the DLL (VBoxOGLrenderspu) that was affected by the change would not be able to load on older versions of Windows. The attached patch should resolve the issue by using a more common function instead of the Vista/newer one. Since I do not have an ATI card, I cannot fully verify the effectiveness of my patch.
