please check the guest IP with 'ipconfig eth0' in the guest. If the IP differs from the one returned by 'VBoxManage guestproperty', then it might be that an old guest property is still active and was not overwritten by VBoxService. In that case, check if VBoxService is running inside the guest. Actually the IP hints that this must be the 2nd slot, otherwise the guest would have received 10.0.2.15.
