please check your AutoConfig.kmk. I assume it contains VBOX_WITH_OPEN_WATCOM := If your build environment does not contain the Watcom C compiler, the alternative BIOS source file is used, see src/VBox/Devices/PC/BIOS/VBoxBiosAlternative.asm To use the C files, install the Open Watcom C compiler, see http://www.openwatcom.org/ Then rerun the configure script and make sure it finds the compiler and sets VBOX_WITH_OPEN_WATCOM properly.
