[vbox-dev] attach CD/DVD aborts the guest

I seem to have an issue that I can't put my finger on. With the latest builds from SVN r44872 & r44885 if I try to select a CD/DVD image to the "running" guest the guest immediately aborts. I can remove an already attached CD/DVD image with no issues. I can't seem to find the trigger that is causing this issue. Anyway I thought you should know. 

Linux host guest does not matter.
