Thank you for testing and for your helpful problem analysis.  The back 
trace you attached doesn't look like it happened in the same place (and 
it looks to me like a debug assertion, not a segmentation fault), but I 
will ask one of our Windows people for a second opinion.  Interested in 
the results of your follow-up tests.
