I really need some help on this one. The short version is that a fully functional VM (Linux 64 on Linux 64) does not shut down when the guest kernel already thinks it is dead. The VM can’t be killed off, only host reboot helps.
I can’t afford to reboot the host every time I kill a VM. I posted details to the forum a month ago: https://forums.virtualbox.org/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=64926 <https://forums.virtualbox.org/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=64926> with no responses. What can I do? Thanks a lot, Johannes.
