Hi, After the following bug was filed against Fedora: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1536264
I've tried to reproduce this and I can reproduce it sometimes: This is a Fedora 27 x86_64 host running gnome3 on Xorg running virtualbox 5.2.4 from the official RPMS with a Fedora 27 x86_64 guest running gnome3 on Xorg. When going fullscreen through the view menu (this seems to be the easier way to trigger this) sometimes 1 of 2 things happens: 1) The fullscreen guest stays the size it was before with a black border around it (I've only seen this once) 2) The fullscreen guest attempts to fill the screen, but is scrambled, it looks as if the guest framebuffer still has the pitch of the size it had before going fullscreen, and then shown in a fullscreen window with obviously a different pitch I can usually only trigger this once per guest-run, I think this is timing related and the first time some code needs to be paged in causing the timing to differ.
