Niltze [Hello]-

I have been building VirtualBox from source on reiser4 -enabled Linux
Debian, various flavours, AMD64 arch. for a while (years); however, I do
not remember ever having built /dev/vboxnetctl

I needed a static IP for my OS/2 2.0 hack

One way to go about it is by creating a "Host Network Interface"
but I get this error:

VBoxNetAdpCtl: Error while adding new interface: failed to open
/dev/vboxnetctl: No such file or directory.

Result Code: NS_ERROR_FAILURE (0x80004005)
Component: HostNetworkInterfaceWrap
Interface: IHostNetworkInterface {455f8c45-44a0-a470-ba20-27890b96dba9}

My question is, how do I build /dev/vboxnetctl ?

find ./ -iname "*vboxnetctl*" on the source yields nothing.

These are the only built modules
ls /lib/modules/5.10.0-5+reiser4.0.2-amd64/misc
vboxdrv.ko  vboxnetadp.ko  vboxnetflt.ko

Thank you in advance for any hints.

Best Professional Regards.
