Pardon the pedantic attempt at clarification. Did you install from the
Karmic repositories or from the VBox site? The version in the
repositories is the OSE version without USB support. If it is from the
VBox site then it is the PUEL version with USB support. However you
will have to make sure that any user of Vbox is assigned to the
virtualbox group. HTH.
