I'm trying to make an USB device work but it doesn't....
Here's my setup:
Debian Lenny on eeePC 1000H, VirtualBox 3.2.4 r62467 with WinXPpro SP2.
The device is an USB to RS232 interface (Prolific Technology Inc.
PL2303). It is detected by Lenny:

I did set up a filter for USB devices with the GUI what brings in
~/.VirtualBox/Machines/WinXP/WinXP.xml:

I installed the driver in Windows but I do not get any 'New hardware
detected' or a new entry in hardware manager or an entry in the vbox's
logfile or any connectivity....
How should I care about this?
