I found the solution without installing any software. Steps: Start "Sun VirtualBox" highlight Window7 (VM) -> Settings -> Shared Folders -> Add Shared Folder -> Folder Path (browser to the folder/directory to be shared) -> Open -> Check "Read-only" -> OK -> OK Start Windows7 (VM) Start -> My Computer -> Map network drive -> Drive (select any) -> Browse (select \\VBOXSVR\foldedName) That is all.
