I didn't see this appear on the list after I sent it the first time, so
I'm trying again.

I have VirtualBox 3.2.6 running under Mac OS X.6.4 (Snow Leopard), and am
trying to connect via SMB to a running eCS 1.2R virtual machine. The VM
uses an .hdd file originally generated by Parallels, now thankfully aban-
doned. The VM, called 'ecsvm', shows up in the Finder's SHARED category,
but whenever I try to connect to it (with Cmd-K) I get 'Connection failed'
message. This happens also from Path Finder and muCommander. In fact
I have never been able to connect from the Mac side, starting when I was
using Parallels under Tiger (but then I could at least connect from the
VM to the Mac).

Has anyone in this list been successful in this? If so, do you have any
suggestions for things I could try? I'm a networking neophyte. Thanks.
