Sorry, I'm still confused.  I open the main gui.  On the right I have 
'Snapshots'.   Right click on the snapshot shows I could delete the 
snapshot, but that's not what I want, correct?  You said delete the original 
vdi.  I can't find that option.

In virtual media manager, I see 'winxp.vdi'.  Right click on that I see 
'release' and 'remove', which are both grayed out.
