Hello! Some of my colleagues have to use Proficy ME 6.5 in their work. There was a decision to create VM and have all the working environment inside of it. Long story short - host OS is Win7 Home Professional, Guest OS - WinXP SP3. After installing Proficy ME 6.5 on the guest OS there are two scenarios on several machines: 1. The endless reboot loop 2. The deadlock with a black screen and white cursor
In both above mentioned scenarios VMs become unusable and unbootable. This behaviour relates to Vbox 3.2 and to latest 4.0.0. I would like to ask - did anybody get a positive experience of using Proficy ME 6.5 with VirtualBox? This software works flawlessly on the REAL machine.
