I just updated to vb4. I'd like to convert my old XP guest, using IDE to SATA, because I believe it will give me better performance.
I tried to follow directions, but am having trouble. VB user manual says I need to install SATA driver, and recommends intel matrix driver. I found this page: http://goo.gl/vj2no I don't know which file to d/l, so I grabbed both. Trying to install, they require .NET 3.0 or later. OK, that's rediculous. This is supposed to be a SATA driver, why would they need me to update .NET? Are these the correct files? Are there some simpler drivers I could install that don't require other crap I don't want? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Learn how Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) One Node allows customers to consolidate database storage, standardize their database environment, and, should the need arise, upgrade to a full multi-node Oracle RAC database without downtime or disruption http://p.sf.net/sfu/oracle-sfdevnl _______________________________________________ VBox-users-community mailing list VBox-users-community@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/vbox-users-community
