I put a list of names of the machines that I want to start in a txt file
called /etc/vbox/startlist.txt, then put this in my /etc/rc.local file:
startlist=`cat /etc/vbox/startlist.txt`
for vm in $startlist
do
logger ===================================================
logger = Starting $vm Virtual Machine
logger ===================================================
/usr/bin/VBoxManage -nologo startvm $vm -type vrdp
sleep 60
done
Works every time!
Hope this helps -
Mark
