Application on XP: TurboTax 2010 All updates applied.
Install steps: (Not all checksums checked good on files.
1. Install VirtualBox Extensions first
2. Install VirtualBox and then configure new WinXp System thru
VirtualBox Manager.
3. Installed guest additions from Devices tab of Windows GUI.
a. USB shows: Device Filters: 4 (3 active) This is correct.
three devices are checked and filters has correct information
b. Devices - USB shows all devices greyed out no check mark.
c. My computer shows printer there but gets error when trying to
print (USB Xerox Phaser active usb device in manager). Driver has been
installed.
Two external Harddrives (Active in device manager) do not appear.
except under Devices, greyed out.
d. tried unplugging and plugging devices in again, still greyed
out.
Other applications also do not see printer or external drives.
Also install all distribution version on opensuse 11.4 MS5 and usb
devices have same problem. Last year, same hardware and opensuse 11.3
but earlier version of VirtualBox this worked fine. Also worked when
11.2 was installed with VirtualBox.
Any help would be appreciated, since I'm trying to get my tax forms
printed so I can file them.
